I’ve been so anxious lately because my dog keeps sneezing and pacing every time I clean the kitchen. I switched products three times, thinking maybe it was just a strong scent or a one-off, but no luck. I didn’t sleep properly last night worrying it might be something serious or permanent. It’s just been this constant stress on top of an already hectic work week. I didn’t realise how much the smell of something could affect dogs so deeply.

Oh I totally relate. Our beagle used to react really badly to some of the sprays we were using—would whine, hide, even refuse food. I started doing some digging and found this helpful list of 8 dogs that have the best sense of smell and it honestly made so much click for me. Turns out certain breeds are just hyper-sensitive to stuff like cleaning chemicals. We’ve since switched to more natural options and it’s made a world of difference for our pup.
